We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue to join our dynamic team in Grand Mercure bangalore/Grand Mercure Mysore/Grand Mercure Ahmedabad gift city/ ibis styles Mysuru India. As a key member of our leadership team you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic revenue management initiatives to maximize our organizations financial performance.
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize revenue across all channels
- Analyze market trends competitive landscape and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with sales marketing and operations teams to align revenue goals and strategies
- Lead and mentor a team of revenue management professionals fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
- Implement and oversee the use of revenue management systems and tools to enhance decisionmaking processes
- Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders
- Identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in revenue management
- Develop and manage the annual revenue budget ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Finance Economics or a related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or a related field with a proven track record of success
- Advanced knowledge of revenue management strategies techniques and best practices
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Proficiency in revenue management software Microsoft Office suite and data visualization tools
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences
- Strategic thinker with strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Indepth understanding of market dynamics competitive landscape and industry trends
- Highly detailoriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
