Refill guest supplies and restock housekeeping trolleys as needed
Maintain a daily room checklist for thoroughness and efficiency
Maintain clear and effective communication with housekeeping supervisors and colleagues to ensure efficient operations and high levels of guest satisfaction
1. Room Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Guest Rooms: Responsible for cleaning guest rooms according to the hotel’s standards, including making beds, changing bed linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces.
Bathroom Cleaning: Ensure that bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned, disinfected, and stocked with necessary toiletries (e.g., soap, towels, toilet paper).
Restocking Supplies: Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, towels, bed linens, and amenities.
Checking Room Equipment: Ensure that all equipment in the room (e.g., lights, TV, air-conditioning) is in working order and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
2. Public Area Cleaning
Cleaning Public Spaces: Clean and maintain public areas such as corridors, lobbies, elevators, staircases, restrooms, and other communal spaces.
Floor Care: Sweep, mop, vacuum, or polish floors in public spaces to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace liners in public areas, guest rooms, and other spaces.
3. Laundry and Linen Management
Laundry Collection and Sorting: Collect and sort dirty laundry, towels, bed linens, and other fabrics from guest rooms and public areas for washing.
Laundry Distribution: Ensure clean linens, towels, and uniforms are properly folded and distributed back to guest rooms or other hotel departments.
4. Guest Service and Interaction
Responding to Requests: Assist guests with any housekeeping requests or additional needs, such as extra towels or amenities.
Customer Service: Provide excellent service to guests by maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with them.
Privacy and Security: Respect guests' privacy and adhere to hotel policies related to access to guest rooms and confidentiality.
