Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ABAP Consultant with exceptional expertise in SAP Fiori to join our team. The ideal candidate will be key in designing developing and enhancing SAP solutions by leveraging ABAP programming and SAP Fiori for userfriendly and efficient business processes. The consultant will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop and implement customized solutions in SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- ABAP Development: Design develop and maintain ABAP programs including reports interfaces enhancements forms (RICEFW objects) and custom modules in SAP systems (SAP ECC S/4HANA).
- SAP Fiori Development: Design customize and implement Fiori applications including creating custom UI5 apps and extending standard Fiori apps.
- UI5/ODATA Integration: Develop and maintain OData services for Fiori frontend applications and ensure smooth integration with the backend SAP system.
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to gather and understand technical requirements and translate them into highquality scalable ABAP and Fiori solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize existing ABAP code and Fiori apps for performance and scalability ensuring adherence to SAP best practices.
- Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing debugging and technical validation of new and existing programs ensuring high quality and errorfree delivery.
- Support & Maintenance: Provide postimplementation support including troubleshooting issues making enhancements and performing system upgrades when necessary.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including specifications designs and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants project managers and endusers to ensure the successful delivery of SAP projects.
- System Integration: Participate in the design and development of system integrations between SAP and other enterprise systems ensuring data consistency and smooth business processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in ABAP development and 6 years in Fiori implementation.
- SAP Fiori Expertise: Indepth knowledge of SAP Fiori architecture app development and configuration; experience with Fiori Launchpad setup.
- Proficient in ABAP: Expertise in ABAP ABAP Objects and SAP Enhancement Framework (BADIs User Exits Enhancement Spots).
- UI5/HTML5: Strong experience in SAPUI5 JavaScript HTML5 CSS and responsive web design.
- OData Services: Handson experience in developing and consuming OData services.
- SAP S/4HANA: Experience in SAP S/4HANA environment is highly preferred.
- System Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP Gateway SAP Web IDE Eclipse and other relevant development tools.
- Problemsolving: Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills focused on delivering solutions that drive business results.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical details to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Certifications: SAP ABAP and Fiori/UI5 certifications are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
- Understanding of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Experience in SAP HANA data modeling and CDS views.
- Familiarity with SAP Activate Methodology and SAP Best Practices.
