Job Description

Contract Engineer

Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Salary: Negotiable; Expat Package Negotiable

About Our Client:
Our client is a key player in a consortium dedicated to delivering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabias
ambitious National Renewable Energy Program. This initiative aims to achieve a total renewable
energy capacity of 11.4 GW once fully operational.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Management: Develop review and negotiate contracts with clients suppliers and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms and compliance with company policies. Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties adhere to contractual obligations.
  • Technical Interpretation: Provide commercial contractual and technical interpretation of contract terms and conditions serving as the primary point of contact for contractrelated inquiries. Analyze contract documents to identify risks and opportunities advising management on potential impacts.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with project managers legal teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on contract requirements and project objectives. Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to resolve contractrelated issues.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all contracts amendments and correspondence related to contract management. Prepare reports on contract performance compliance and any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Ensure compliance with relevant laws regulations and industry standards throughout the contract process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends best practices and changes in regulations that may impact contract management. Recommend improvements to contract management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contract management preferably in engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and contract law.



Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively
