- Estimate Pay: $43.25 to $48.00/hourly
Working Hours:
Work is typically scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. While the schedule may need to be flexible it will not exceed 40 hours per week or 1500 hours total. The contractor may be occasionally called upon for afterhours as needed.
Summary:
As a System Analyst III you will perform system administration duties including server administration domain/DNS tasks and managing user/domain security. You will also handle ITIL ticketing. The role involves providing support for critical TIERS systems requiring participation in a 24x7 oncall rotation and occasional weekend work. Support may also necessitate onpremises work at times.
Mandatory Qualifications
- High level knowledge and experience of network facilities and data processing techniques of computer hardware and software of network operating system and security software and of performance monitoring and capacity management tools.
- Extensive knowledge and experience using LDAP/Windows Active Directory Microsoft SQL Server and Hypervisor Experience with HyperV and VMware.
- Knowledge and experience of administering Windows Systems (Group Policy Kerberos NTLM TCP/IP WINS DNS DHCP PXE) Linux Network Administration IT Governance and Security/Privacy policies and tools. Indepth knowledge of Active Directory LDAP DN
- Additional / Preferred experience supporting the following: Ansible SFTP/FTPS Kubernetes and opensource software. Ability to direct and organize work activities.
- Strong ability to identify problems/issues analyze and evaluate alternatives and recommend/implement effective solutions.
- Solid handson experience supporting Windows and Linux systems on AWS cloud service providers (AWS Azure etc).
- Experience providing server and application support on a 24X7 oncall basis and on a rotating schedule basis. Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.
- Experience with server hardware equipment replacement/upgrades.
- Experience ITIL ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Ability to prepare concise written reports appropriate to the audience. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to plan and coordinates server maintenance activities with TIERS Data Center Contractor and CSPs services including security patching and other activities related to the TIERS Security Program. May assist in Data Center Maintenance Coordination.
- Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise. Experience installing and implementing SQL Server clustered environment.
