Tasks
- Develop and implement health safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health safety and environmental protocols to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote continuous improvement in health safety and environmental performance across all business operations.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in health safety and environmental advisory roles preferably within the business consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of local state and federal HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively train and influence diverse teams.
- Proficient in using HSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
