Job Description
The IT Data Visualization Architect will craft visualizations and dashboards relevant to agencys different divisions serving both statewide and internal partners.
- The IT Data Visualization Architect will craft visualizations and dashboards relevant to agencys different divisions serving both statewide and internal partners.
- This position will take part in requirements gathering data modeling visualization design as well as training on site staff on visualization tools.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop datadriven applications and dashboards in Tableau or Power BI both preferred but one or the other will be considered
- Conduct thorough data validation to maintain accuracy and consistency
- Align agency infrastructure with industry best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align requirements with business objectives
- Meet project deadlines and requirements while working independently
- Other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
- Remote work following Agency hybrid work policies
What You Will Need:
- Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant work experience
- 3 or more years of experience in data visualization tools
- Experience in Oracle products preferred (Oracle19c RDBMS pl/sql procedures)
- Proficiency with Data migration Data Modeling and ETL
- O365 applications experience in Microsoft Excel is essential
- Excellent communication skills written and verbal
- Experience in government financial management
- Ability to research and document findings
