As a Bookkeeper you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various financial processes including payroll client invoicing and generating reports. You will work closely with our leadership team and virtual assistants to ensure financial accuracy and timely processing of payroll and client accounts. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial to maintaining smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Management: Process payroll for our virtual assistants and leadership team accurately and on time. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal policies.
Reports: Generate and maintain regular financial reports including profit and loss statements balance sheets and budget tracking to provide clear insights for decisionmaking.
Client Invoicing: Prepare and send invoices to clients track payments and follow up on overdue accounts. Ensure accurate billing and timely collections.
Maintain Financial Records: Keep accurate and uptodate financial records including transactions receipts and payroll data.
Collaboration: Work closely with the leadership team to ensure all financial operations are efficient and transparent.
Proven experience as a bookkeeper accountant or similar role ideally in a virtual or remote environment.
Proficiency with payroll systems and financial software with experience using Gusto or similar platforms.
Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets for financial tracking and reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial data and payroll.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to collaborate remotely with various teams.
Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of tax regulations and payroll compliance is a plus.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks Xero etc.).
Knowledge of business finance tax laws and regulatory requirements.
Previous experience managing payroll and client invoicing for a remote team or business.
