The Role:
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join our fastpaced and exciting team. In this role you will actively source products by visiting retail stores building relationships with store managers and negotiating the best deals. You ll play a key role in driving the success of our ecommerce operations by sourcing highdemand products managing logistics and ensuring timely inventory turnover. This position requires a mix of instore presence relationshipbuilding negotiation and analytical skills.
What Youll Do:
Product Sourcing: Visit retail stores regularly to identify products with high potential utilizing ongoing sales promotions and clearance events.
Market Awareness: Stay ahead of the competition by tracking upcoming sales and securing the best deals before they re gone.
Relationship Building: Build and nurture strong relationships with store managers to gain access to insider deals and exclusive promotions.
Negotiation: Use your negotiation skills to secure bulk discounts and favorable terms that align with company profitability goals.
ECommerce Analysis: Use tools like Amazon Seller Central and ScanPower to assess the profitability of potential products.
Logistics Management: Oversee the transportation of products to our warehouses ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
Expense & Performance Tracking: Monitor expenses sales performance and inventory levels to ensure profitability and make necessary adjustments.
Risk Management: Evaluate deals for potential risks including counterfeit goods and demand fluctuations.
What We re Looking For:
Retail or Sales Experience: Proven success in retail or product sourcing with strong negotiation skills.
Driving Ability: Must be able to drive a cargo van (Promaster or similar) for transporting products.
Communication Skills: Ability to build relationships with store managers suppliers and collaborate with internal teams.
ECommerce Knowledge: Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central or similar platforms is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data and identify the most profitable products to purchase.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with both local and international teams.
