Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and improve the company s security infrastructure including VPN implementation and centralized access systems.
- Maintain and support the security of systems for remote access.
- Assist with configuring and maintaining network infrastructure including data center management.
- Implement and configure new hardware and software within the organization.
- Order and manage hardware requirements for employees.
- Maintain and administer Linuxbased systems and software ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Perform routine updates troubleshooting and system performance optimization.
- Manage data center operations ensuring all servers are running efficiently.
- Assist teams with the implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical company services like GitLab Mattermost and email systems.
- Automate standardize and document IT processes to optimize work structures.
- Configure maintain and enhance IT infrastructure and businesscritical systems.
- Analyze current support processes to identify and implement efficiency improvements.
Requirements
- At least 35 years of experience in IT support or system administration.
- Strong experience working with Linux servers and system administration.
- Basic knowledge of IT security best practices for servers networks and applications.
- Handson knowledge of Linuxbased systems (Ubuntu Debian) with experience in configuration monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience with automation tools or scripting to optimize repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with GitLab CI or other continuous integration tools.
- Selfstarter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong communicator and interest in working in a startup environment.
- Attention to detail in configuring and maintaining systems understanding that small details can make a big difference in IT.
- Ability to troubleshoot diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Understand the importance of securing systems and data.
- Familiarity with managing GPU systems (AMD / NVIDIA) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Windows Server is a plus.
Having at least 3-4 years of experience with CPU and GPUs Good understanding of HPC and GPGPU technologies such as CUDA, HIP, SYCL, OpenCL, and MPI. Proficiency in C/C++ with the ability to start a project from scratch using C/C++ Strong understanding of how to code and data stream through CPUs and GPUs. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid setting and international work environment. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Openness to new experiences, feedback, and continuous learning. Comfort with dealing with the unknown and tackling new challenges. Able to commute to the office located in Lelylaan 2 days a week. Familiarity with project management principles and practices is a plus.
