The primary role of the Billing Support Specialist III is to perform administrative tasks in support of the clients billing department.
Shift: 8am4:30pm ET Monday through Friday
- Monitor and respond to inquiries sent to the centralized billing inbox
- Perform time edits
- Respond to billing inquiries or redirect to the appropriate biller
- Prepare adhoc reports providing analysis of financial and historical data
- Provide backup billing assistance when the Biller is out of the office
- Assist in obtaining timekeeper approval for Billing clients
- Prepare invoices according to client billing guidelines
- Respond to inquiries timely and effectively
- Prioritize and meet aggressive deadlines while handling a high volume of work
- Build maintain and deliver professional customer service and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts. This position requires routine communication with client contacts and other personnel both inside and outside the firm
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education
- Minimum: High School or GED
Years of Experience
- Minimum Years of Experience: 2
- More than 2 years of relevant billing accounting or financial experience directly related to the duties of the position
Skills and Certifications
- Experience with Aderant/CMS Elite or similar software
- Proficiency with Outlook Word and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with clients in a professional serviceoriented manner
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within established deadlines
- Ability to thrive in a team environment and look for opportunities to provide additional support
- Experience with some sort of billing platform/software
- Experience with various ebilling vendor portals preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems independently
