Barista

Baxterstorey is seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team in Solihull. As a Barista you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee beverages and providing outstanding customer service in a fastpaced environment.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks including espressobased beverages filter coffee and speciality drinks
• Operate and maintain espresso machines grinders and other coffee equipment
• Create latte art and present beverages in an visually appealing manner
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately
• Maintain a clean and organised work area adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
• Educate customers about our coffee offerings including bean origins and flavour profiles
• Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and support colleagues during peak hours

Qualifications :

• Previous experience as a Barista preferably in a busy caf or coffee shop
• Excellent knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and ability to operate espresso machines
• Strong latte art skills and attention to detail in beverage presentation
• Proficiency in using pointofsale systems
• Food hygiene certificate (desirable)
• Indepth knowledge of coffee beans roasts and brewing methods
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts
