We are seeking a dynamic and innovative PR Manager to join our team in Tokyo Japan. As the PR Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance our brands visibility and reputation in the Japanese market and beyond.
- Develop and execute strategic PR campaigns aligned with our organizations goals and objectives
- Manage and nurture relationships with key media outlets journalists and influencers in Japan and internationally
- Create compelling press releases media kits and other PR materials in both English and Japanese
- Oversee the planning and execution of press conferences media events and other PR activities
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
- Monitor and analyze media coverage preparing regular reports on PR performance and impact
- Manage and grow our social media presence creating engaging content that resonates with our target audience
- Develop and maintain crisis communication plans providing swift and effective responses when needed
- Identify and secure speaking opportunities and award nominations to enhance the companys industry standing
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to inform PR strategies
- Manage PR budget and resources effectively ensuring maximum ROI on all PR initiatives
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Public Relations Communications or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PR preferably in a managerial role
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful PR strategies
- Strong network of media and press contacts in Japan and internationally
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese
- Proficiency in PR software social media platforms and analytics tools
- Demonstrated experience in crisis management and reputation protection
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Creative thinking and problemsolving abilities
- Experience in event planning and managing strategic partnerships
- Solid understanding of the Japanese media landscape and cultural nuances
