Job Description: GermanSpeaking Content Moderator Onsite in Porto
Are you passionate about ensuring a safe and positive online experience for users We are looking for motivated GermanSpeaking Content Moderators to join our dynamic team in Porto Portugal. In this role you will help maintain the integrity of online platforms by reviewing and moderating content ensuring it complies with community guidelines and providing a safe environment for users.
Key Responsibilities:
As a GermanSpeaking Content Moderator your primary responsibilities will include:
- Content Review: Review and assess usergenerated content including text images videos and comments ensuring compliance with company policies and community guidelines.
- Quality Control: Flag and report inappropriate harmful or illegal content while providing detailed explanations for the moderation actions taken.
- Communication: Work closely with the team to maintain and improve content policies and standards providing feedback on trends and issues observed in content submissions.
- ProblemSolving: Address complex contentrelated queries or issues that may require deeper investigation delivering timely solutions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as legal and safety teams to resolve complex content moderation challenges.
- Data Documentation: Accurately document moderation actions including decisions on flagged content and contribute to ongoing improvements in the moderation processes.
- Customer Interaction: Occasionally engage with users to explain moderation decisions or resolve disputes regarding content removal or account suspension.
Requirements:
- Language Skills: Fluent in German and at least intermediate English (B2). You should be able to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to accurately assess content and enforce community guidelines.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to identify and address content issues ensuring a balanced and fair approach.
- TechSavvy: Comfortable with using webbased tools and platforms with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Experience: Prior experience in content moderation or related fields is beneficial but not mandatory. A passion for online safety and moderation is key.
- Resilience: Ability to handle potentially sensitive or disturbing content and maintain professionalism and emotional resilience.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting to ensure quality moderation.

Schedule:
This is a 24/7 rotational shift role and your shifts will rotate within the following schedule:
- 07:00 16:00
- 14:00 23:00
- 22:30 07:30
You will work onsite 100% in Porto Portugal.
Days off: Two rotational days off.
