Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning scope management financial management and execution for IT projects in support of business objectives
- Responsible for identifying project milestones and tracking progress including outcomes of the project phases
- Responsible to lead and manage project scope and objectives as well as the role and function of each team member to effectively coordinate the activities of the team
- Responsible for managing project performance using standard project management tools procedures and adhering to Fossil standards
- Responsible for managing issues risks and appropriate mitigation plans
- Responsible for identifying and clearing project roadblocks in a timely manner
- Responsible for applying critical thinking to manage project dependencies throughout project lifecycle
- Responsible for coordinating/facilitating meetings as needed to support project related activities
- Responsible for providing project status to all levels of the organization
- Responsible for facilitating knowledge transfer of Projects to IT Operations team
- Responsible for maintaining annual PMP certification and staying current with PMP trends
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- Certified Project Management certification (PMP) or Scrum Master certification a plus
- 5 years of experience in IT and business/industry work experience
Skills and Behaviors:
Knowledge of retail systems preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Excel Word PowerPoint Project and Visio
- Proven experience working with agile and waterfall delivery methods and techniques
- Proven ability to manage multiple project tasks and timelines to successful completion
- Working knowledge of JIRA & Confluence
- Expert understanding of current and emerging information technologies and systems
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
