Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our company dynamic radiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing highquality CT scans ensuring patient safety and working collaboratively with physicians nurses and other medical staff. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fastpaced environment with cuttingedge imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians ensuring highquality imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures explaining the process to ease any concerns.
  • Position patients correctly to ensure accurate scans.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of CT equipment.
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs during procedures.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to review images and assist in diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • Provide excellent patient care ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Rad Tech experience.
  • Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CT Technologist preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures equipment and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level I trauma center experience.
  • Experience starting IVs. (ACLS).
  • Experience with Philips CT technology.
  • Experience with Epic EMR.
  • Experience with Visage PACS system.

SCHEDULE:

The standard shift for this position is 10am8pm on weekdays and weekend shifts are 3pm1am. Every other weekend required.
