We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing developing and implementing ServiceNow applications as well as configuring and customizing the platform to meet business needs. As a ServiceNow Developer you will play a critical role in enhancing IT service management (ITSM) capabilities automating processes and driving improvements in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities: -
ServiceNow Application Development:
- Design develop test and deploy custom applications on the ServiceNow platform (including ServiceNow ITSM ITOM ITBM and other modules).
- Configure and customize ServiceNow workflows business rules and service catalog items.
- Build and maintain custom scripts using JavaScript GlideScript and other ServiceNow scripting tools.

System Configuration & Customization:
- Configure ServiceNow modules like Incident Problem Change Request Knowledge and other ITSMrelated modules.
- Customize the ServiceNow user interface (UI) including UI Pages UI Actions and UI Policies to improve user experience.
- Implement ServiceNow integrations with thirdparty systems and other enterprise applications using REST SOAP and other integration methods.

Automation & Process Improvement:
- Automate business processes by leveraging ServiceNows Flow Designer Orchestration and IntegrationHub.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop solutions to improve incident management change management service catalog and other key service management processes.

Maintenance & Support:
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow applications including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
- Monitor platform performance and ensure that ServiceNow is running efficiently and effectively.
- Perform regular platform upgrades and patches ensuring minimal disruption to services.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with IT teams business analysts and project managers to gather and understand functional and technical requirements.
- Work closely with endusers to gather feedback and ensure ServiceNow applications are meeting their needs.
- Assist in preparing technical documentation release notes and user manuals.

Training & Mentorship:
- Provide training and support to other ServiceNow developers and users as needed.
- Stay up to date with the latest features and best practices of the ServiceNow platform and share knowledge with team members.
Skills and Qualifications: -
Technical Skills:
- Strong handson experience in ServiceNow development and configuration including creating custom applications modules and integrations.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript GlideScript).
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM ITOM ITBM and Service Catalog modules.
- Knowledge of REST SOAP and Web Services for integration.
- Familiarity with ServiceNows Flow Designer Orchestration and IntegrationHub for automation and process improvement.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow CMDB Incident Management Problem Management and Change Management processes.
- Experience with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and development environments.

Experience:
- 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development and configuration.
- Proven experience working in ITSM ITOM or other IT service management practices.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.

Certifications:
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification preferred.
- Additional certifications in ServiceNow modules (e.g. ITSM ITOM HRSD) are a plus.
