Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Development Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tire development finite element analysis (FEA) collaboration with crossfunctional teams and extensive experience in manufacturing and testing. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cuttingedge projects focusing on tread design mold design and utilizing CATIA V5 to enhance our product development processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of new tire products from concept to production ensuring performance safety and quality standards are met.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations to evaluate tire performance under various conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams including manufacturing testing and design to refine and optimize tire development processes.
- Design and optimize tire tread patterns for improved performance durability and fuel efficiency.
- Develop and improve mold designs to ensure efficient tire production processes.
- Work closely with the testing team to ensure prototypes meet required performance metrics and customer specifications.
- Oversee tire validation and testing processes to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering Materials Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in tire development with a proven track record in tire design FEA and mold design.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 or equivalent CAD software for design and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of tire testing methodologies and performance metrics.
- Expertise in FEA simulation techniques particularly for tire modeling and stress analysis.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with the manufacturing process of tires including material selection molding and production techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with advanced tire testing equipment and software.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements for tire performance.
- Experience with prototype development and validation testing.
Must have:
- Tire Development Expertise: Advanced knowledge of tire construction mold design and tread pattern optimization.
- CATIA V5 Proficiency: Handson experience with CATIA V5 for tire design.
- Tire FEA (Finite Element Analysis): Basic understanding and application of tire FEA.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with crossfunctional and international teams.
Manufacturing Process Knowledge:
- Understanding of plant activities like component preparation tire building and curing processes.
- Regulatory Awareness:
- Familiarity with tirerelated regulations and industry standards (e.g. TRA ETRTO USTMA).
- Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze tire performance data to make design recommendations.
Travel Readiness:
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and
