Identify/pursue new clients within assigned region
Create/implement strategies to penetrate new markets & acquire multimodal/multiservice opportunities
Generate leads: cold calling trade shows networking events leveraging referrals
Research/understand prospective clients needs tailor sales approaches accordingly
Communicate AFS value proposition through compelling presentations/demos
Establish/develop relationships with key decisionmakers/Clevel executives understand their business challengesposition AFS as the solution provider
Lead client negotiations to a winwin outcome while securing agreements aligning to business goals
Work closely with internal multidiscipline teams to ensure smooth transitions from client prospecting to onboarding
Utilize Salesforce: track leads manage sales pipeline sales activity/forecast reports
Stay informed about industry trends/competitor activities/market demands to adapt strategies/identify new opportunities
REQUIREMENTS
5 years transportation industry experience in multiple modes plus 3 years verifiable logistics business development experience to include responsibilities listed above.
