Director of Corporate Strategy & Business Process Optimization Conglomerate

On behalf of a multifaceted conglomerate with businesses in Hong Kong and China we are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join the company as the Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Process Optimization. In this senior leadership role you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives driving business process optimization and providing expert guidance to senior management. You will play a critical role in shaping the future direction of the organization and ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness.



Responsibilities

  1. Corporate Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine the corporate strategy aligning it with the companys longterm objectives.

    • Conduct comprehensive market research competitive analysis and industry trends assessment to identify opportunities and threats.

    • Develop strategic frameworks and models to assess business performance and guide decisionmaking processes.

    • Provide recommendations to senior management on strategic initiatives potential partnerships and new business ventures.

  2. Business Process Optimization:
    • Lead endtoend business process reviews and identify areas for improvement efficiency gains and cost savings.

    • Develop and implement process optimization strategies to streamline operations and enhance organizational productivity.

    • Identify and leverage best practices emerging technologies and industry benchmarks to drive continuous process improvement.

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement process automation and digital transformation initiatives.

  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives and process optimization efforts.

    • Monitor and analyze performance data providing regular reports and insights to senior management.

    • Conduct postimplementation reviews and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives on business outcomes.

    • Identify risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution of projects and initiatives.

  4. Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with senior executives department heads and other key stakeholders to align strategic goals and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

    • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders providing guidance and support in strategic decisionmaking processes.

    • Communicate and present strategic plans recommendations and project updates to the executive team and board of directors.


Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Economics or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience (10 years) in corporate strategy business process optimization or management consulting roles.

  • Previous experience as a Management Consultant or in business consulting/strategy consulting roles would be highly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning methodologies frameworks and tools.

  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting market research competitive analysis and industry trends assessment.

  • Experience in leading crossfunctional teams and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and translate insights into actionable plans.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proficiency in data analysis performance monitoring and reporting tools.

  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
