You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOur client is an international freight and shipping company. They are currently looking for a Logistics Sales and Business Development to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities:
New client sales relationship building and management.
Agent relationship building and upkeep.
Handle high level client queries.
Learn and sell companys full list of client solutions
Understand and build trade lanes between our international offices (SE Asia to Europe Africa USA etc)
Statistical understanding and reporting of volumes and trade lanes.
Business development strategies and analysis for staying ahead in todays market as well as new growth avenues.
Mentor new team members.
Requirements:
Minimum 612 years experience in Logistics Sales new client leads cold calling etc
Knowledge of Imports / Exports / General Logistics / Warehousing/ Customs / Rate Understanding
Seafreight and Airfreight knowledge (Importing and Exporting) Consolidations Negotiations
Knowledge in Microsoft Office: Word / Excel / Microsoft Outlook
