Head of HR (Greater China) FinTech Crypto TMT Internet (native Mandarin speaker / visa holder welcome)

For 7 years the Group has been pioneering the future of global finance. The team of over 700 skilled professionals drives innovation across 9 countries building the cuttingedge infrastructure that institutional and professional clients worldwide rely on. Powered by proprietary technology its diverse portfolio of regulated financial institutions and fintechs specialize in multiasset liquidity solutions serving major global markets. The startup is looking for an experienced HR leader to cover Greater China / APAC and to help the company scale.

Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Global Head of HR and lead a team of 45 HR professionals within the Greater China region
  • Collaborate closely with the Global Head of HR to craft and execute HR strategies that support the companys rapid growth and evolving business goals
  • Develop and implement tailored HR policies procedures and initiatives for the companys offices in Greater China and 12 key Southeast Asian markets
  • Oversee the full talent lifecycle from attracting and hiring top talent to designing effective performance management and employee development programs
  • Manage employee relations address grievances and foster a positive engaging work culture to retain our best people
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations across the region
  • Streamline HR operations including payroll benefits and recordkeeping
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the leadership team providing datadriven HR insights and recommendations

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in HR Business or a related field
  • 1012 years of HR experience with a proven track record of building and scaling the HR function in a fastpaced highgrowth environment
  • Handson experience developing HR strategies and programs from the ground up in a startup setting
  • Excellent understanding of labor laws and regulations across Greater China and/or APAC
  • Prior experience recruiting and relocating candidates from China to Hong Kong
  • Exceptional communication stakeholder management and people leadership skills
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin / Putonghua)
