Their vision is to create seamless efficient and sustainable logistics solutions for the C2C and online retail market. As they embark on this exciting journey they are seeking a talented and driven Country Operations Manager to lead their operations and build the small but dedicated team in Warsaw. The team will comprise of office staff and drivers. We are looking for candidates who have experience in logistics and preferably parcel deliveries and who could be in charge of a department of 612 people.
The Role:
As the Country Operations Manager you will be at the forefront of their operational strategy and execution in Poland. You will oversee all aspects of the logistics operations ensuring excellence in service delivery operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role is crucial to their growth requiring a blend of strategic thinking operational expertise and a handson approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Lead and manage the daily operations ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies that support our growth objectives and enhance our competitive edge.
- Team Management: Build mentor and inspire a highperforming operations team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Process Optimisation: Identify opportunities to streamline processes reduce costs and improve service quality. Implement best practices and innovative solutions.
- Customer Focus: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining exceptional service standards and addressing operational challenges proactively.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulations health and safety standards and company policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams partners and external stakeholders to drive operational success and achieve strategic objectives.
- DataDriven Decisions: Utilise data analytics to monitor performance identify trends and make informed operational decisions.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior operations role within the logistics supply chain or related industry. Startup experience or working for a startup or medium sized logistics company is highly desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams with strong people management and communication skills.
- Language skills: Fluent Polish and good English skills.
- Strategic Vision: Capable of strategic thinking and translating strategy into actionable plans.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on operational excellence.
- Customer Orientation: Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and experience.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fastpaced dynamic environment with a willingness to get handson when needed.
- Education: Bachelors degree in business logistics or a related field.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics operations including warehousing transportation and supply chain management.
