Job Description
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a BSCE degree California Registration as a Professional Civil Engineer plus a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience in land development and/or public works; or the equivalent work experience of twelve (12) years in the industry. Qualified candidates will also have a minimum of eight (8) years of management experience supervising the work of engineers designers and other project support staff.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate:
Strong independent thought and decisionmaking abilities
Possess demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
Exhibit management ability
Be adept in establishing and maintaining strong and positive working relationships with clients/publicagency personnel and inhouse staff.
Candidates managerial experience must include the following:
Supervision of engineering design teams
Management of project schedules and budgets
Preparation and management of contracts fee proposals and scopes of work; significant experience in client and preparation of contracts fee proposals and scopes of work
Significant experience in client and publicagency interactions.
