Key Responsibilities:
Facility Setup and Management:
- Lead the design and layout of the new MRO facility to optimize workflow and efficiency.
- Oversee the procurement and installation of necessary equipment and tools.
- Coordinate with construction teams and contractors to ensure timely completion of the facility
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure the new MRO facility complies with all relevant aviation regulations and standards (e.g. FAA EASA).
- Develop and implement quality control and safety procedures in line with industry standards.
Process Development:
- Establish and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all maintenance and repair activities.
- Implement best practices for engine inspection repair and overhaul to ensure highquality service delivery.
- Team Building and Training:
- Recruit train and manage a team of skilled technicians and support staff.
- Develop training programs to ensure all personnel are uptodate with the latest industry practices and technologies.
Project Management:
- Develop project plans timelines and budgets for the MRO setup.
- Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to stay on track and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including suppliers regulatory bodies and customers.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress and status of the MRO setup.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aero engine maintenance repair and overhaul.
- Proven experience in setting up or managing MRO facilities.
Language Requirement:
- Bilingual English and Japanese (N3 and above)
