THIS IS A BUSINESS ANALYST/CONSULTANT IV POSITION THAT REQUIRES PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE. The Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) is an organization dedicated to protecting Wisconsin citizens while promoting economic growth and stability. We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Business Analyst Consultant IV with strong project management experience to join our team and drive strategic initiatives that enhance our operations and deliver value to our constituents and business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Conduct thorough data analysis to inform decisionmaking and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop process maps workflows and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather insights and feedback from crossfunctional teams.
- Facilitate User Story development: Define/document requirements acceptance criteria create subtasks prioritization of tasks map stories estimate workload etc.
- Lead project planning execution and monitoring ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Create and maintain project schedules resource plans and risk management strategies.
- Communicate project status challenges and successes to stakeholders at all levels.
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for projects.
- Prepare and present reports dashboards and updates to executive leadership.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure effective implementation of solutions.

Ability to develop and execute QA test plans and procedures as well as oversee others performing work
Conceptual understanding of web applications CRM and relational database architectures
