Salesforce Project Lead

We are looking for a highly skilled Salesforce Project Lead to oversee and lead Salesforce implementation and enhancement projects. The Salesforce Project Lead will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle ensuring timely delivery aligning resources and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. This role will require a deep understanding of Salesforce platforms project management methodologies and leadership to guide teams through the development testing and deployment phases of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Management:
  Lead the planning and execution of Salesforce projects from inception to completion. Define project scope objectives deliverables timelines and resource allocation to ensure successful delivery within budget and timeline.

• Stakeholder Management:
  Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders including business users product owners and senior management. Regularly update stakeholders on project status risks and progress ensuring alignment with business goals.

• Team Leadership & Coordination:
  Lead a crossfunctional team of Salesforce developers administrators business analysts and other project members. Provide clear direction assign tasks and ensure that team members have the necessary resources and support to succeed.

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
  Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements. Ensure these are translated into clear actionable user stories and functional specifications.

• Agile Project Management:
  Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban etc.) to manage project delivery. Lead sprint planning daily standups sprint reviews and retrospectives. Ensure smooth execution of Agile processes and maintain high team performance.

• Risk & Issue Management:
  Identify track and manage project risks and issues escalating to senior management as necessary. Proactively address potential roadblocks and challenges to ensure the project stays on track.

• Quality Assurance:
  Oversee the testing and quality assurance phases ensuring that Salesforce solutions meet the defined requirements and are free of defects. Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders for feedback.

• Change Management:
  Support change management efforts by ensuring that new features and processes are successfully adopted by users. Provide training documentation and support to ensure seamless transition and user engagement.

• Project Reporting & Documentation:
  Maintain detailed project documentation including project plans timelines progress reports and postproject analysis. Provide regular status reports to senior management highlighting key milestones risks and deliverables.

• Continuous Improvement:
  Evaluate the success of completed projects gather lessons learned and recommend improvements for future projects. Identify opportunities to improve processes tools and team efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration or related field.
• 10 years of experience in managing Salesforce projects including endtoend project lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud Service Cloud Marketing Cloud etc.) and Salesforce best practices.
• Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall etc.).
• Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading crossfunctional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello Asana MS Project).
• Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) or equivalent Salesforce certifications is preferred.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
• Experience with budgeting resource allocation and vendor management.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with advanced Salesforce solutions such as Salesforce CPQ Field Service Lightning or Salesforce Communities.
• Knowledge of integration tools (MuleSoft Jitterbit etc.) and cloud technologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage and prioritize competing requirements.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and Salesforce release management.
• Ability to foster collaboration and alignment across global teams and diverse stakeholders.
