Job Description: PPC Engineer (Production Planning and Control)
Role Overview: The PPC Engineer is responsible for planning scheduling and overseeing the production processes to ensure efficiency costeffectiveness and timely delivery of products. This role involves coordinating between various departments to streamline operations manage resources and meet production targets.
Key Responsibilities: -
Production Planning:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer requirements and order priorities.
- Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components.
- Analyze capacity and resource constraints to optimize production timelines.

Scheduling and Monitoring:
- Create detailed production plans and monitor progress against targets.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards during production.

Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and procurement teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Update and maintain accurate records of materials and finished goods.

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and improve processes.
- Prepare and present reports on production efficiency material usage and downtime.

Coordination and Communication:
- Act as a liaison between production sales procurement and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on production schedules and delivery timelines.

- Identify areas for process optimization and implement lean manufacturing practices.
- Develop strategies to reduce production costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications and Skills: - Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Production or Industrial Engineering (Diploma holders with relevant experience are also welcome).
- Experience: 25 years in production planning scheduling or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing and process optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel Word PowerPoint).
