ABOUT THE ROLE
The Tax Senior Manager will lead and manage the federal tax practice with a strong focus on flowthrough entity taxation. This role involves overseeing client engagements developing strategic tax planning solutions and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers an opportunity to work in a clientcentric teamoriented environment and requires a seasoned professional with extensive tax expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Engagement Management
- Lead and manage a portfolio of tax clients focusing on flowthrough entities.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients addressing their taxrelated needs and providing strategic guidance.
FlowThrough Entity Taxation
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies specific to partnerships S corporations and LLCs.
- Demonstrate indepth expertise in flowthrough entity taxation.
Tax Planning and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local tax regulations for various entities and individuals.
- Create tailored tax planning strategies that align with the firms commitment to customized solutions.
Team Leadership
- Supervise and mentor a team of tax professionals in a collaborative environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional growth of team members.
Quality Assurance
- Review complex tax returns and deliverables related to flowthrough entities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and enhance quality control procedures.
Client Advisory Services
- Provide proactive tax advice to clients identifying opportunities for savings and risk mitigation.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and advise clients on their potential impacts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field; CPA required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in public accounting and tax consulting.
- Strong knowledge of federal state and local tax regulations particularly for flowthrough entities.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
