Job Description
Job Title: Medical Diagnostic Sonographer
Location: British Columbia
Pay: $40.83$50.94 per hour
Join Our Team as a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer!
BeGlobal is hiring skilled and compassionate Sonographers for a private radiology clinic expanding to include a stateoftheart ultrasound service in Kamloops BC launching in May 2025. With three new ultrasound machines and a focus on work/life balance we offer daytimeonly flexible hours across fulltime parttime and casual positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations per physician orders following established protocols.
- Prepare patients for procedures addressing their concerns with compassion.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment independently.
- Capture and analyze highquality diagnostic images.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain patient records and ensure equipment safety and hygiene.
- Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Qualifications
- Diploma from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
- Certification with Sonography Canada (or equivalent).
- Experience in clinical settings is an asset but new graduates are welcome.
- Ability to handle 812 cases per day with excellent time management.
- Strong attention to detail organizational and communication skills.
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
- A team player who thrives under pressure.
