Job Description
Role: Security Architect
Location: Pontiac MI Onsite
Duration: 6 12 months
Reports to CISO
Senior Security Architect. Secures enterprise information by determining security requirements; planning implementing and testing security systems; preparing security standards policies and procedures. Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs) wide area networks (WANs) virtual private networks (VPNs) routers firewalls and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs) including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards onprem remote (DR) and cloud environments. Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
Environment: (1) Define operationalize and document the security architecture and assessment function. (2) Develop standardize and document reference architectures; specifically zero trust architecture. (3) Determine and apply appropriate controls and criteria for security architecture reviews. (4) Elevate the security engineering team through mentoring and knowledge transfer.
