Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced QNX Lead Engineer to lead the development of cuttingedge QNX applications and BSPs (Board Support Packages) for chipsets from leading manufacturers such as NXP Renesas Infineon and Qualcomm. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about utilizing their expertise in QNX hypervisor technologies and automotive systems to create innovative solutions for our global customers in Digital Cockpit ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and SDV (SoftwareDefined Vehicles) while empowering the engineering community through training and knowledgesharing initiatives contributing to QNX Workforce Development Program.

Responsibilities

  • Design develop optimize and Integrate QNXbased custom solutions for Automotive Medtech and Industrial Automation ensuring scalability and performance

  • Design and implement BSPs for leading chipsets / SOCs (Renesas / Infineon / NXP / ST / Qualcomm) ensuring robust hardwaresoftware integration.

  • Debug test and validate QNXbased systems to meet high performance and reliability standards.

  • Design configure integrate and optimize Hypervisorbased solutions for virtualization in automotive applications

  • Coach and mentor team on engineering best practices such as writing clean code designing scalable reliable and performant software solutions set and ensure compliance with software quality standards safety standards etc.

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs as part of the QNX Workforce Development Program including the Train the Trainer programs to partner Institutions.

  • Willing to Travel to client locations for demonstrating solutions and capability on QNX.

  • Maintain detailed documentation for development training and customer support purposes.

Technical Skillset

  • Strong QNX Expertise in designing and developing BSPs and applications for chipsets from leading multicore platforms such as NXP Renesas Infineon Qualcomm and others

  • Experience working on Bootloader / Reflash / Software update / Software download / Over the Air update for Microprocessors on Linux / QNX / Hypervisor

  • Experience working on Uboot Kernel Device tree System calls (IPC Process Multithreading) File system (ubifs mtd etc) Memory types and related concepts (Bad blocks partitioning etc)

  • Strong Proficiency in C/C and Linux.

  • Knowledge of automotive safety standards such as ISO 26262 and AUTOSAR is a plus

  • Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN LIN Ethernet) and test tools (INCA Canalyzer Canoe)

  • Strong analytical skills software debugging skills and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent communication interpersonal collaboration and presentation skills to work with a diverse global set of internal and external stakeholders
