We are seeking an experienced SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) Consultant with expertise in SAP Asset Management (SAM) to join our team. The SAP PM Consultant will play a key role in implementing and maintaining the SAP Plant Maintenance module optimizing maintenance processes and ensuring smooth integration with other SAP modules. This role requires strong functional knowledge in maintenance management and the ability to provide ongoing support to enhance the overall maintenance strategy.

The SAP PM Consultant will work closely with business users project managers and IT teams to gather requirements configure SAP PM and support endusers in the operational and strategic use of the system.

1. Implementation and Configuration:

   • Lead the configuration of SAP PM and Asset Management (SAM) based on business requirements.
   • Set up and configure equipment management preventive maintenance work order management and technical object structures.
   • Ensure alignment of SAP PM processes with organizational goals for asset management maintenance and plant operations.

2. Business Process Analysis and Optimization:

   • Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP functionality.
   • Design and implement solutions for maintenance and asset management processes including failure analysis corrective and preventive maintenance and maintenance planning.
   • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.

3. Integration with Other SAP Modules:

   • Integrate SAP PM with other SAP modules like SAP MM (Material Management) SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) SAP FI/CO (Finance and Controlling) and SAP PS (Project Systems).
   • Ensure seamless data flow between modules and ensure consistency across business processes.

4. User Support and Training:

   • Provide training and guidance to business users on SAP PM and SAM functionalities.
   • Provide firstlevel support and troubleshooting for any issues related to SAP PM functionality.
   • Develop user manuals and conduct workshops to improve user competency.

5. Testing and Documentation:

   • Conduct unit testing integration testing and support system testing during SAP implementations or upgrades.
   • Prepare and maintain functional and technical documentation related to SAP PM configurations and customizations.

6. PostImplementation Support:

   • Provide ongoing postimplementation support monitoring and optimization of SAP PM functionality.
   • Identify and resolve issues ensuring minimal disruption to plant operations and maintenance workflows.

7. Project Management Support:

   • Assist in project planning including timelines resource allocation and coordination with business teams.
   • Provide regular status updates and work closely with the project manager to meet project milestones and deadlines.

8. Upgrade and Enhancement Support:

   • Assist in the planning and execution of SAP PM system upgrades and enhancements.
   • Ensure that SAP PM modules are aligned with the latest SAP technologies and business requirements.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Certification: SAP Certified Application Associate SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) or Asset Management (SAM).
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 46 years of handson experience in SAP PM with at least 23 fullcycle implementations or major upgrades.
  • Strong experience in Asset Management (SAM) functionality within SAP PM including asset lifecycle management asset data management and performance optimization.
  • Experience in integrating SAP PM with other SAP modules such as MM SD FI/CO or PS.
  • Knowledge of business processes in maintenance plant operations and asset management.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of SAP PM configuration including maintenance planning work orders equipment management notifications and reporting.
  • Proficiency in SAP Fiori apps for PM and understanding of SAP UI5 for customizing user interfaces is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming) for customizations in SAP PM.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA PM module.
• Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) integration in SAP PM for predictive maintenance.
• Prior experience in industries like manufacturing utilities oil and gas or energy where plant maintenance is a core function.
