Job Description
Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer(US Citizens only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:- Design develop and maintain software applications using PowerBuilder.
- Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Enhance and troubleshoot existing PowerBuilder applications ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Integrate applications with databases such as Oracle SQL Server or other relational database systems.
- Write efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure proper testing and validation of software functionalities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including system designs test plans and deployment guides.
- Provide technical support and guidance to endusers and team members.
- Stay updated with the latest PowerBuilder features trends and technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in PowerBuilder (versions 10.5 12.x or later).
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database design (e.g. Oracle SQL Server MySQL).
- Experience with stored procedures triggers and database optimization.
- Experience with SDLC processes Agile methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git TFS).
- Experience in modernizing legacy applications and integrating with modern frameworks is a plus.
- Exposure to integration with other platforms such as web services (REST/SOAP) or APIs.
- Knowledge of migration from PowerBuilder to other modern technologies.
- Experience in financial healthcare or government domains is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
