Job Description

We need profiles on SQE position at Camarillo CA Onsite only. This is a replacement position for our existing employee.

Full Job Description:

Main Duties:

  • Work with Supplier functions to develop PFMEA Control plans and statistical plans (Cpks). Ensures that project and/or process control documentation is compliant with requirements and/or contract.
  • Experience advancing Zero Defect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis PFMEA 8D corrective action.
  • Create/Maintain PFMEA Control plans documentation using enterprise platform to ensure compliance to Parker standards.
  • Perform virtual & onsite supplier audits as needed.
  • Working experience in developing Supplier APQP/PPAP
  • Works with Procurement to qualify NEW suppliers
  • Develops Supplier Risk mitigation plans for Parts moves
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of New Product introductions to Suppliers
  • Coordinates with Supplier Quality team on all initiatives relating to supplier quality performance.

Must Have Requirements:

  • Interpret blueprints specifications & work instructions.
  • Handson expertise in measurement methods & tools.
  • Data analysis & mining Pivot charts.
  • Root cause analysis / problem solving.
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook Excel Word & PowerPoint)
  • Supplier quality audit experience.
  • APQP/PPAP experience
  • US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.

Preferred Requirements:

  • At least 5 years experience in demonstrated process improvement success; proven accomplishments utilizing Lean tools/methodologies; Structured Problem Solving 5S MistakeProofing and process capability tools required to drive the continuous improvement culture into the organization.
  • 4 years experience as a Quality Engineer in Aerospace.
  • BS degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related job experience.
  • Automotive experience a plus

Title: Aerospace Supplier Quality Engineer: Fort Worth TX (Onsite Only)

The SQE core responsibilities will be communicating with suppliers validating concerns root cause analysis resolving product/paperwork holds conducting audits & analyzing data for metrics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze & validate the reported internal supplier issues.
    • Determine cause & responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications & measuring parts.
    • Notify suppliers initiate containment update internal systems & generate/ follow up on corrective actions.
  • Perform virtual & onsite supplier audits as needed.
  • Address products paperwork issues with suppliers & maintain the systems.
  • Maintain & generate reports/charts for metrics utilizing data mining from various support systems.
  • Accuracy attention to details & appropriate turnaround time in all internal & external communication.
  • Experience in advancing a ZeroDefect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis PFMEA8D corrective acti on A3 problem solving 5 why analysis Ishikawa diagrams and other six sigma tools.
  • Ability to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams. Ability to establish goals and objectives to complete projects.
  • Prioritize tasks in a fastpaced work environment.
  • Travel 25% or less domestic and international.

The SQE core responsibilities will be communicating with suppliers validating concerns root cause analysis resolving product/paperwork holds conducting audits & analyzing data for metrics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze & validate the reported internal supplier issues.
    • Determine cause & responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications & measuring parts.
    • Notify suppliers initiate containment update internal systems & generate/ follow up on corrective actions.
    • Supplier management skills to improve OTD and quality performance.
    • Drill down onto root causes and help suppliers with process reliability/improvements.

  • Perform virtual & onsite supplier audits as needed.
  • Address products paperwork issues with suppliers & maintain the systems.
  • Maintain & generate reports/charts for metrics utilizing data mining from various support systems.
  • Accuracy attention to details & appropriate turnaround time in all internal & external communication.
