Job Description
Title: iSeries Quality Assurance Project Manager
Location: Issaquah WA (Hybrid role)
Duration: 6 Months
Description:
Client is looking for an iSeries Quality Assurance Project Manager who has strong experience and knowledge in iSeries systems and integration projects. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with domain experts and technical experts in/across the team.

Role:
Lead and mentor a Test team that works and coordinate the use of external testing resources as needed.
Oversee and assist with writing test specs and test cases for various features and releases.
Collaborate with other production teams to develop a sustainable development plan that balances quality scope and time.
Identify and implement solutions for staffing tooling/data test methodology and prioritization challenges.
Work closely with the development team to define develop and maintain comprehensive Test and QA standards and requirements that align with the project goals.
Prepare and present executive level presentations and communications

Manage the Risk and Security & Vulnerability remediation for iSeries in compliance to the security best practices.

Experience and Education:
10 years of project and project management experience in high growth complex environment
Bachelors degree or equivalent required Masters degree or equivalent preferred.
Certification through PMI or other recognized Project Management educational institute or equivalent preferred.
Customerfacing project management and team leadership experience is required Experience in managing iSeries test operations.
Experience in migration projects Experience or background in technology projects including best practices implementation.
Experience or background in strategic enterprisewide implementations including Change Management Other Knowledge.
Experience in triage and logging defects in HPALM or ADO Skills

Mature and strong leadership skill to lead both technical and service operation management.
Enthusiastic and a strong desire to learn quick leaner to adopt to fast changing environment. Organized and detail oriented.
Ability to apply knowledge into practical support identified and resolve potential pitfall upfront to avoid costly rework and service impact.
Strong ability in handling multiple tasks stream ability to priority critical / important task.
Ability to perform troubleshooting with multiple technical team.
Formal IBM iSeries training and/or IBM certification preferred Strong knowledge of project management methodologies techniques and tools required.
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and projects ability to work independently and maintain selfmotivation strong interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills required.
