Job Description
DESCRIPTION
The client is requires the services of Cloud Solutions Architect hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Cloud Solutions Architect Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client
All work products resulting from the project shall be considered works made for hire and are the property of the Client and may include preselection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. The Client will pay no fees for interviews or discussions which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).
Cloud Solutions Architect use their technical knowledge of cloud services to design and implement scalable robust systems on the (AWS) cloud platform.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in operating system such as Red Hat Linux and Windows. Required 12 years
- Design and deploy scalable highly available and faulttolerant systems on AWS. Required 10 years
- Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle. Required 10 years
- Collaborate with the different technical and nontechnical teams to develop and implement robust cloud solutions. Required 10 years
- Select appropriate AWS services based on data compute database or security requirements. Required 10 years
- Handson experience designing distributed systems and applications on the AWS Cloud. Required 10 years
- Identify and gather requirements to define a solution to be built and operated on cloud infrastructure. Required 8 years
- Assess the existing infrastructure and recommend modifications as necessary. Required 8 years
- Educate on architectural principles and best practices on various technical levels. Required 8 years

- Ensure solutions and infrastructures align with TIERS security standards. Required 8 years
- Lead technical and design discussions to help speed of new technologies and practices. Required 8 years
- Working knowledge of storage and backup solutions provided by AWS. Required 8 years
- Experience ITIL ticketing using Remedy and ServiceNow. Required 8 years
- Experience managing Archer GRC Required 8 years
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addresses DNS TCP/IP and among other standard networking protocols. Preferred 8 years
- General knowledge of database software such are Oracle MSSQL Postgres etc. Preferred 5 years
- Knowledge of identity and access management as well as additional cybersecurity principles. Preferred 5 years
- Keep abreast of the newest cloud computing developments and work to improve the organizations cloud infrastructure. Preferred 5 years
- AWS Solutions Architect Certification Preferred 5 years
