Job Description

PMO Manager

Location: 100% Remote

Contract Duration: 23 years

But candidates mostly in EST or CST

Job Summary:

  • Project Management Office Manager position is part of Digital Customer Solutions (DCS) team supporting all facets of Digital Sales & Marketing Technology services .
  • The PMO Manager is responsible for our developing and maturing DCS project management office and capabilities.
  • Levering their agile and lean program management experience this role will lead the continuous improvement of our processes methods and tools.
  • In addition this role will lead the coordination and reporting of our portfolio with high attention to detail the PMO Manager will drive DCS quarterly and annual planning cycles.

Responsibilities:

  • PMO coordinates and establishes the Priorities & Portfolio for the overall organization based on department goals & the constraints from each leader
  • Defines & Maintain Standards/Best Practices across organization. Aligned and Leveraging enterprise TEIS PMO
  • Provides guidance metrics & reporting accountable for portfolio tracking/reporting.
  • Project Qualification (Grid Feasibility Value Complexity Xteam Internal Skills BU Plan Exec Sponsor New/Scale) with partnership from TE DCS Leadership team
  • Responsible for developing processes supporting annual and quarterly budget forecast cycles.
  • Work with different stakeholders within team/Business/PMO for demand/Supply outlook variance comparison revisions and notifications. Rationalize finalize demand against spend Demand / Supply meetings.
  • Liaise with the teams in Digital Marketing Solutions Contracts Finance and Legal Departments to ensure that Contract strategies and contracts are in full compliance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Program / Project Management Ensure Global TEIS (IT) Portfolio processes are understood & followed.
  • Set Digital Customer Solutions team standards provide handbooks tools and be a resident advocate of PM best practice (this includes methodology training certification etc.). Ensure common project delivery practices across project managers and develop an organization that is an example of project management performance and excellence. Ensure proactive organizational change management practices applied by project managers to effectively manage the people side of change and ensure impacted audiences are ready to adopt & sustain the changes.
  • Manage the onboarding coaching and oversight of vendors/TE project managers ensuring the adequate knowledge of processes methodologies and crossfunctional dependencies to ensure successful rampup and project delivery
  • Resource Management coordination with TEIS CoE senior teams to ensure proper staffing of managed projects and resolve scheduling conflicts
  • Develop enhance and audit the TEIS Methodology and suggest improvements to tools and processes driven from lessons learned and project delivery experience
  • Adherence to all IT and TE policies associated with this span of control.
  • Passionate attention to cross organization communication and teamwork on all activities
  • Must be able to flex daily work schedule to allow timezone differences for global team communications.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related Business discipline and / or Management Information Systems
  • At least 10 years of Project Management experience and 5 years in Project Management Office as PMO Manager/Lead including finance and contract management
  • Ability to present / interact crisply and fluently with TE Executive Management outstanding communication skills in both oral and written forms
  • An understanding / appreciation of current Digital trends in business and technology
  • Deep experience and knowledge on effective project management techniques frameworks agile/hybrid/waterfall operating models methodologies and proven ability to deliver key portfolio outcomes (cost value schedule risks) and financial accuracy
  • High degree of financial acumen including planning (budgeting) cycles.

Additional Competencies Preferred:

  • Experience applying Organizational Change Management practices to increase business readiness to adopt changes & promote culture of delivering business outcomes through effective change management
  • Agile /Scrum /SAFe Certification
  • Knowledge of Digital Sales & Marketing
