We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist Infection Prevention & Control in a Private Hospital in Galway Ireland.24 hours per week Permanent contract
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a responsible role model by offering professional leadership and showcasing best practices in infection prevention and control.
- Conduct audits compile reports and offer feedback to the Consultant Microbiologist and other relevant personnel.
- To deliver excellent clientcentered care while acknowledging the significant impact of a creative wellrun service
- To keep an eye on and assess the resources and procedures utilised through risk management and audit.
- Determines the priorities for health promotion in specialised infection control.
- Establishes an effective surveillance system for infection control to enable the timely detection of infected patients and employees.
Requirements
- Five years after registering (with a minimum of three years of infection control experience)
- It is vital to be proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Outstanding communication leadership responsibility and interpersonal skills
- Clinical expertise that is appropriate and demonstrates ongoing professional development.
- Qualification in Infection Control or willingness to pursue the same.
- Adaptable work schedule
