Job Description
Family Nurse Practitioner
Opportunity Highlights:
- Schedule: Day shift 10hour shifts
- Role: Follow current treatment protocols in collaboration with clinic physicians. The Family Nurse Practitioner will assume responsibility for treatment decisions regarding patient care with support from a supervising physician.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner license with the California Board of Registered Nursing; BLS ACLS certification
- Certification Requirements: Completion of an accredited program per California Code of Regulations (Section 1484) or current certification by one of the following:
- American Nurses Credentialing Center
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
- Pediatric Nursing Certification Board
- National Certification Corporation (for Obstetric Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing Specialties)
- American Association of CriticalCare Nurses
- American Nurses Credentialing Center
Surrounding Area:
- Local Attractions: Close to Pinnacles National Park Santa Lucia Highlands wineries and Big Sur.
- Proximity: Less than 100 miles from Monterey Santa Cruz and Salinas.
- Community Activities: Participate in the Salinas Valley Fair explore local wineries and visit historic missions like Mission San Miguel and Mission Soledad.
