Job Overview:
The IT Operations Intern will assist in the maintenance monitoring and troubleshooting of the organizations IT infrastructure. This role offers handson experience with IT systems and processes contributing to seamless operational support and innovative solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in managing and maintaining hardware software and network systems.
- Perform routine checks on system performance and report issues to the IT team.
- Help resolve basic technical problems for endusers and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Monitor network and server health using diagnostic tools.
- Support the team in identifying and mitigating potential risks to system availability.
- Maintain records of IT assets configurations and support tickets.
- Assist in documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and technical guides.
- Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades migrations or new technology rollouts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Stay updated on IT trends and best practices to suggest improvements.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical knowledge.
Requirements:
- Willingness to learn about IT systems
- Good analytical skills
- Good communication skills
- Team player with good presentation skills
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware software and network problems
- Understands project management
- M365 stack knowledge
- Understands ITIL practices
- Familiar with various operating system and databases
- Can understand IT logs for audit
Eligibility Criteria:
- Engineering Graduates/ Postgraduates in Computers (or) IT
- Any relevant diploma in IT
