Job Overview:
As a Junior Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in supporting the analysis interpretation and visualization of data to extract actionable insights. You will work closely with senior analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements perform data cleansing and transformation and generate reports and dashboards that inform business decisions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in data analysis gain exposure to diverse datasets and tools and contribute to meaningful projects that drive business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements objectives and success criteria
- Perform data cleansing validation and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends patterns and outliers using statistical and visualization techniques
- Assist in the development of reports dashboards and data visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively
- Support adhoc data analysis requests providing timely and accurate responses to meet business needs
- Document data analysis processes methodologies and findings to support knowledge sharing and future reference
- Stay current with industry trends tools and best practices in data analysis and visualization
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics or related field
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as Excel SQL Python R or similar
- 12 years of experience in a data analysis role or related field (internship or entrylevel positions)
Preferred Requirements:
Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or Google Data Studio
Qualities:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to interpret and manipulate complex datasets
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks manage workload and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in data analysis and visualization
