Job Overview:
As a Junior Python Django Engineer you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of web applications built on the Django framework. Under the guidance of experienced developers you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects learn new technologies and grow your skills in Python and web development. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design develop and maintain web applications using Python and the Django framework
- Assist in the implementation of backend logic data models and business logic to support application functionality
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and thirdparty services
- Participate in code reviews testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of code
- Work closely with frontend developers and designers to integrate backend functionality with frontend components
- Contribute to the optimization and performance tuning of web applications for scalability and responsiveness
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and best practices in Python and web development
Mandatory Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Strong proficiency in Python programming language
- Familiarity with web development concepts and technologies including HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Basic understanding of the Django web framework and MVC architecture
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React Angular or Vue.js
- Knowledge of SQL databases and ORM frameworks such as Django ORM or SQLAlchemy
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
- Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
