Job Description
One of our clients a Japanese IT Firm is looking for a Senior Engineer in NYC.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our growing team in New York City. As a key member of our team you will be responsible for deployment maintenance and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure both onpremises and in the cloud. This is a handson role that requires a strong understanding of server technologies Active Directory and cloud platforms particularly Azure.
Responsibilities:
Deployment and maintain onpremises and cloudbased server infrastructure.
Manage and maintain Active Directory including user accounts group policies and domain services.
Deploy operate and troubleshoot Azure environments.
Ensure the security and integrity of server infrastructure.
Proactively monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
Develop and maintain documentation for server infrastructure and processes.
Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure smooth operations.
Participate in oncall rotation for afterhours support.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields.
3 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of server hardware and software including Windows Server.
Extensive experience with Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
Handson experience with Azure environment deployment operation and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AWS cloud platform.
Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
Relevant certifications (e.g. MCSA Azure Administrator).
Japanese language skills.
This position requires presence in our New York City office 23 days per week.
