Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical EIT to join our fullservice engineering team! We design innovative worldclass projects utilizing stateoftheart technologies. This is a handson design position with the Anchorage and Matsu Region Facilities Market Sectors. Your primary role will include electrical design for facilities supporting new construction and renovations in collaboration with architects civil structural mechanical and fire protection engineers. Duties may also include construction inspection of facility and utility or transportation projects. Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Engineers in calculations.
  • Assist Engineers in code review and research.
  • Assist Engineers in placing devices in Drawings and circuiting.
  • Assist Engineers in design and Construction Administration (CA).

Qualifications :

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • EngineerinTraining having passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam or ability to pass the exam within 6 months.
  • Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.
  • Motivated energetic and driven to take on new tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Detail oriented & organized.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Desire to learn and advance in technical skills and understanding.

Additional Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Revit experience.
  • SKM Elum Tools or other Electrical software experience.
  • Experience with construction.
  • Cold region/Alaska experience.
  • Experience with preparing plans specifications and design calculations.


Additional Information :

Work Schedule: This is a regular fulltime position with benefits.  The employee will work 40 hours/week (MondayFriday) from 8:00 am 5:00 pm.

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringebenefits package. RESPEC is a 100 employeeowned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
