Job Description
Position : Senior UX Designer
Location : Seattle WA (HYBRID)
- Candidates must be ready to lead usability testing and user research.
- Medical Device experience is a hard requirement.
- Experience in the medical product industry preferably familiar with IEC 623661 (application of usability engineering to medical devices) FDA Human Factors Guidance and IEC 62304 (software lifecycle processes for medical devices).
- Medical device experience is a must
- Only local candidates with medical device experience will be accepted.
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in UX Design HumanComputer Interaction Human Factors Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX design and user research
- Experience conducting user research including customer interviews usability testing and creating user journey maps.
- Familiarity with hardware/software integration and the challenges associated with designing for both.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools. We use Figma and Miro.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate complex research findings into actionable design solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Knowledge of software development processes and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure design implementation.
- Strong proficiency in interaction design with a solid understanding of usercentered design principles.
- 5 years of experience in UX design and user research with a proven track record of shipping productsfrom design and user testing to implementation and releasewhile gathering and applying feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
