Job Description
About the Role
We are hiring a skilled Site or Civil CAD Designer for our direct client a leading firm specializing in civil engineering land planning and landscape architecture. This position involves designing and drafting civil engineering and infrastructure plans including stormwater systems roadways paving grading and utility infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and draft Grading Plans Utility Plans Roadway Plan and Profiles Cross Sections and other civil engineering/infrastructure plans.
- Prepare layouts for residential and commercial land development projects.
- Collaborate with Civil Engineers to create designs for stormwater systems roadway layouts and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with State and Local City/County Development Codes.
- Develop erosion and sediment control designs as part of broader civil infrastructure projects.
- Use AutoCAD 2016 or newer (Civil 3D experience preferred) to produce highquality deliverables.
- Maintain organization meet client deadlines and take pride in deliverables.
- Work independently and as part of a collaborative team to execute project goals.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant land development and CAD drafting experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2016 or newer (Civil 3D a plus); experience with industryaccepted software.
- Familiarity with State City and County Development Codes in the Tampa Bay area.
- Strong sense of urgency excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Outstanding verbal written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with engineering teams.
