Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Laboratory Technician, to join an environmental testing company, at their site based in Maidstone. This is a permanent role with a salary of 25,000 pa. The hours are 9:00 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.


You must hold a UK driving licence.


Laboratory Technician Role:
Your main duties will be:
  • Prepare and extract analytical samples and reagents.
  • Perform basic analysis using classical wet chemistry techniques in line with laboratory test procedures.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests as required.
  • Calculate and record results accurately.
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety guidelines.
  • Follow quality control procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Input data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Perform calibration and checks on equipment and balances.

Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • A minimum of GCSE grade C or above in Science, Maths and English or equivalent laboratory experience.
  • Industrial laboratory experience desirable but not essential.
