Job Description

Interactive Classroom Technician

Location: Portsmouth Hampshire (with travel throughout the South of England)

Are you passionate about technology and its impact on learning Do you enjoy transforming classrooms into engaging interactive spaces Were seeking an Technician to join this growing team and make a difference in the education sector.

The successful candidate will be working as part of an installation team travelling daily to schools located across Hampshire to install new classroom technology complete service visits and respond to call outs. Candidates must have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to different schools across the region each day.

Our client is a leading provider of technology solutions for schools colleges and universities across the South of England and beyond. They design install and maintain cuttingedge systems that enhance teaching and learning experiences.

About the Role:

As a Technician you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of various audiovisual equipment in educational settings. This includes:

  • Installing projectors interactive whiteboards sound systems video conferencing equipment and other AV technologies.
  • Configuring and testing systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Providing basic training to teachers and staff on how to use the new equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Working closely with the project managers and sales team to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in AV installation and configuration.
  • Strong technical skills and problemsolving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the South of England.
