Job Description

Role: RF Engineer

Location: San Diego CA 92121

Duration: 6 months (possible extension)

Job Description

  • PTCRB and SCC will be running tests on their products at night. Those test at night and during the day the results will come back with issues telling which tests failed this person will be going through that data figure out why its failing and come up with solutions on what would be required to get it to pass.
  • Lead design of RF front end / Transmitter in highvolume wireless communication devices
  • Generate schematics and PCB layout based on Project goals.
  • Test and validate products in compliance with 5GNR / LTE / UMTS / WiFi device specifications environmental conditions and internal electrical/mechanical requirements
  • Generate internal design specifications and documentation as necessary
  • Participate in design and other milestone reviews
  • Optimize PCB Board RF performance through simulation and calculation of RF matching.
  • Work with customers to integrate wireless communication devices into their products
  • Work with vendors in component selection and timely resolution of issues
  • Most important top three skills/experience:
    • Need someone with at minimum 35 years in RF engineering
    • Must have the 5G experience with a VERY strong preference for 5GNR
    • Experience with LTE or WCDMA
    • Experience working in a lab environment testing and creating solutions
